I am a Ph.D. candidate with a strong interdisciplinary focus on mental health. My research centers on understanding both the influential factors that shape mental health—such as educational, occupational, and developmental experiences—and how mental health, in turn, impacts life outcomes. This dual perspective drives my core interest: uncovering what contributes to mental well-being and how mental health influences individuals across the lifespan.
My clinical and practical experiences have revealed a critical gap in access to mental health resources, especially for marginalized or underserved populations. This discrepancy motivates my work in developing innovative, technology-driven solutions to reduce mental health disparities.
In the realm of technology, I conduct data-driven research to identify patterns and disparities in mental health across populations. I also leverage artificial intelligence—particularly generative AI—to create tools aimed at improving mental health accessibility and support. These include AI-based mindfulness applications, psychoeducational modules, and training tools that can supplement traditional mental health care or reach individuals who might not otherwise have access.
Ultimately, my goal is to bridge the gap between mental health science and scalable, real-world applications that promote mental well-being for all.
